Painter Hilde Plessers born in Bree Limburg in 1961. In 1982, after finishing her studies at the Imelda Institute in Molenbeek and the Sint-Lucas Academy in Brussels, she exhibited for the first time on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Nivelles. She participates in group and solo exhibitions in Leuven, Brussels, Aarschot. 1990 soon brings several exhibitions and collaborations with other artists. Plessers becomes laureate Dirk Boutsprijs Leuven, Kulturama prize Haacht, two selections Lions Club Leopoldsburg. Plessers also writes. She publishes poems via facebook and prints in her own edition.
